My Jr. Master Chef!

I enjoyed making this LO!  It's the first time I used my glimmer mist (as you can probably notice.. it's still a bit messy, lol!)..  This is also the first time I did a "food"-themed LO.:P

The photo I used is one of my favorite pics of Toby. It's taken from the studio shoot we had last December.. The photo package we got was really expensive, but we just LOVE Toby's pictures..  so I guess it was worth every penny!;)

Anyway, without further ado, here's my LO:

I Love You, My Adorable Boy

I'm so happy to be able to scrap (and of course blog) today..  Have lots of great pictures that are waiting for me to be "scrapped".. Unfortunately, I'm almost always tired when I come home from work.. and I try to spend as much time as possible with my son on weekends..

Anyway, today I'm on leave as my son has got the colds and I wanted to take care of him..  so while he was sleeping, I was able to steal some time to scrap!:)  Haha!

Let's Get Sketchy!

I'm actually writing this blog with mixed emotions..

I'm a bit sad because it's been a while since I've scrapped..  and I really miss it SO MUCH!  Ironically, now that I have my son to scrap about, I don't scrap as much as I want to..  not for the lack of inspiration, but lack of time!  Between work, chores, and my son, the little time I have left for myself, I spend sleeping!  LoL!!

I'm also happy.. because I just learned about this new sketch site: Let's Get Sketchy! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE sketch sites!  Like I always say, I still consider myself as a newbie when it comes to scrapbooking.. especially in making LOs!  Hence, sketches are really helpful and inspirational for me.. And I just can't wait to try out the nice sketches at Let's Get Sketchy!:)

To Ms. Brensheiva, congratulations on your new site!  I wish you all the best and success.. Can't wait to share with you the LOs I make using your sketches..:)

A Baby Girl! Congrats!

I made this card for my boss who is having a baby girl..  This is the first time I used my new Copics, and I'm just sooooo happy!:)  I know I still need to learn how to really use them properly, but I'm really loving the outcome of my images!  I think I'm in trouble... I think I'll be addicted to Copics..;) hehe!

As I mentioned in my previous post, my cousin came here in SG for a vacay and she so kindly brought the scrapping items I bought online from Scrapbook.com, which saved me some shipping $$!!:) And here are the items:

I just LOVE it!! Can't wait to use them.. especially the Copics!! I finally have COPICs!!! Woot woot!!! Here's my first try at using them:

 I know I still need a LOT to learn on how to use them well, and I just can't wait to learn it!:)

For my cousin

Here's a card I made today. I intend to give it to my cousin who is coming here in SG to visit me. She's from the US and since I know it's a lot cheaper to buy scrapbooking stuff in the US, I purchased a few items online and she's bringing it here for me.. which saves me some shipping $$$!!:) I'm just sooooo excited to get my purchases and use them!!!:)

A Card and a Layout!

Can't believe I was able to finish a card and a layout today!:) I don't think I've done it before..:P And I'm quite happy with my outputs..;)

Here's another layout of my dearest son:


I love the paper I used for this LO, I won it in a challenge (unfortunately, I forgot which one).. But whoever gave this to me, thanks so much! love it!:) I cut part of the car design so that it won't get hidden by my LO's design:

• Scrap it with a Song - The Way You Make Me Feel - Aside from using a part of the lyrics (Pretty Baby), the song title just suits me at the moment..:) Being a first time mom, everyday I'm still amazed at my precious miracle! There are days where I feel like I'm in an emotional roller coaster ride all because of my pretty baby..;)

A Photo Scavenger Hunt!

It's the first time I joined a photo scavenger hunt challenge and I was really excited to do it! All thanks to the CS Divas for this challenge..;)

Here are the items I "hunted" for:

1. Flowers - love these flower embellies!

2. Ribbons - just bought these ribbons yesterday.. it's actually the 1st time I bought ribbons in "rolls".. I usually just buy a couple of yards..:P

3. Food item/Dinner - hubby made baby back ribs for dinner tonight..:)

4. Glitter - bought these quite a long time ago... still haven't used them.. honestly, I still dunno how to use them in my LOs..:P hehe!! I guess I'm still a newbie crafter..:P

5. Favorite craft item - since I don't have much scrapping supplies/resources yet, these are my fave craft item.. I usually just make my embellies, so I use my scissors a lot!:P

6. A bed - our king-size bed

7. A family member - my boys (hubby & son)

8. Your most recent picture that you just took (not including this challenge) - this is my most fave item from the list as I just took this photo below today.. my baby just turned 10 weeks old!:)

9. The color green - literally, I took a picture of all my green (different shades) colored pencils..:P

10. A card fold ( easel, joy fold, trifold, etc) - a trifold card I made a long time ago.. I'd say this is one of my fave cards...:)
Hope to find more of these kind of challenges!:P I definitely had fun "photo scavenging"..;) Hehe!

Divalicious Christmas in July Blog Hop

As I mentioned in a previous post, the Creative Scrapbooking Divas had a Divalicious Xmas in July Blog Hop last weekend. I really enjoyed hoping thru all the Divas' blogs and seeing their xmas project ideas!

Unfortunately, I couldn't do some of them due to lack of resources.. So for my xmas project, I just plan to start creating my xmas cards this July. I want to create cards for my family and friends this xmas for a change, instead of just buying from a bookstore..:P

Here's a few I was able to start with:

These will be my "generic" cards, which will be mass produced and given to my colleagues and friends..

For my family and close friends, I plan to create a different one for each of them..:) I was able to finish one. Since I couldn't create a real banner like in Diva Jessica's blog, I decided to just use the banner concept in my card. This one I'll give to one of my close friends:



More to come, of course. I'll be updating this blog and posting the pics as I finish them.. ;)
